About Us
The North Dakota Climate Solutions Partnership launched in June 2009 to build state and federal support for solutions to global climate change; to help North Dakota transition to a new, clean energy economy; and to help diversify our energy resources and provide clean, safe, dependable and affordable energy for today and future generations.
The seven founding member groups include conservation, faith-based, environmental and agricultural interests:
- Ducks Unlimited*
- Environmental Law & Policy Center
- Foundation for Agricultural and Rural Resources Management and Sustainability (FARRMS)
- National Wildlife Federation
- North Dakota Farmers Union
- Pew Environment Group
- Prairie Climate Stewardship Network
These leading organizations will be working to build public understanding and support for clean energy legislation currently being developed by Congress.
*Ducks Unlimited supports provisions in climate and energy legislation that directly relate to wetland and grassland conservation and pertain to the organization’s mission. DU does no necessarily support all of the views expressed by the NDCSP. |
